Description

Indulge in the irresistible combination of fresh strawberries and earthy matcha in these creamy, swirled Strawberry Matcha Swirl cheesecake Bars. A quick and easy no-bake dessert that will transport you to a state of pure bliss.

Ingredients

– 16 ounces cream cheese, softened

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

– 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and finely chopped

– 2 tablespoons matcha powder

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

2. Add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until well combined.

3. Divide the cream cheese mixture evenly into two bowls.

4. In one bowl, fold in the chopped strawberries until fully incorporated.

5. In the other bowl, sift in the matcha powder and gently fold until the mixture is evenly green.

6. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish and spread the strawberry mixture in the bottom in an even layer.

7. Dollop the matcha mixture on top of the strawberry layer and use a knife or toothpick to swirl the two together, creating a marbled effect.

8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set, before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

For a stronger matcha flavor, increase the amount of matcha powder. You can also garnish the bars with a dusting of additional matcha powder or fresh strawberry slices.
