Description

Indulge in the heavenly fusion of classic strawberry shortcake and creamy cheesecake, all wrapped up in soft sushi rolls. These Strawberry Shortcake Cheesecake Sushi Rolls are a unique and delicious treat that will wow your taste buds.

Ingredients

– 1 cup sushi rice, cooked and cooled

– 8 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 1 tsp vanilla extract

– 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

– Nori seaweed sheets

Instructions

1. – Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions and let cool completely.

2. – In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.

3. – Lay a nori sheet on a sushi mat, shiny side down. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border.

4. – Spread a layer of the cheesecake mixture over the rice, followed by a layer of sliced strawberries.

5. – Carefully roll up the sushi, using the mat to help. Slice the roll into 6-8 pieces.

6. – Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make more rolls.

Notes

– For a sweeter variation, you can add a drizzle of caramel or chocolate sauce over the finished rolls.

– Store any leftover rolls in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
