Grandma’s classic Stuffing Biscuits are a comforting and delicious addition to any holiday meal. Tender, flaky biscuits are infused with savory stuffing flavors, making them the perfect side dish or appetizer.
Ingredients
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 tablespoon baking powder
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
– 3/4 cup chicken broth
– 1 cup prepared stuffing
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. – In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. – Cut in the chilled butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. – Stir in the chicken broth until a dough forms.
5. – On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough out to 1/2-inch thickness.
6. – Use a 2-inch biscuit cutter to cut out rounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
7. – Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the biscuits are golden brown.
8. – Remove from oven and top each biscuit with a spoonful of prepared stuffing.
9. – Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
10. – Serve warm.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality prepared stuffing. You can also make your own stuffing and use that instead. Leftover biscuits can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
