Description

Grandma’s classic Stuffing Biscuits are a comforting and delicious addition to any holiday meal. Tender, flaky biscuits are infused with savory stuffing flavors, making them the perfect side dish or appetizer.

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 tablespoon baking powder

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed

– 3/4 cup chicken broth

– 1 cup prepared stuffing

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. – In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. – Cut in the chilled butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

4. – Stir in the chicken broth until a dough forms.

5. – On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough out to 1/2-inch thickness.

6. – Use a 2-inch biscuit cutter to cut out rounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

7. – Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the biscuits are golden brown.

8. – Remove from oven and top each biscuit with a spoonful of prepared stuffing.

9. – Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

10. – Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality prepared stuffing. You can also make your own stuffing and use that instead. Leftover biscuits can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
