Ingredients

– 1 lb ground Italian sausage

– 1 onion, diced

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls

– Salt and black pepper, to taste


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. 2. In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.

3. 3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the onion is translucent.
