Ingredients
– 1 cup tapioca starch
– 1/2 cup water
– 1 tablespoon white sugar
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the tapioca starch and sugar.
2. Gradually add the water and knead the mixture until a smooth, pliable dough forms.
3. Pinch off small portions of the dough and roll them between your palms to form small, round pearls.
4. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully add the tapioca pearls and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface and become translucent.
5. Drain the cooked tapioca pearls and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process.
6. Serve the tapioca pearls immediately, or store them in the refrigerator for later use.
Notes
