Description

Grandma’s divine Thanksgiving ham recipe is the ultimate holiday centerpiece. This perfectly seasoned and glazed ham is sure to impress your guests with its tender, juicy perfection.

Ingredients

– 1 (10-12 lb) fully cooked, bone-in ham

– 1 cup brown sugar

– 1/2 cup honey

– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

– 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

– 1 teaspoon ground cloves

– 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.

2. Score the ham’s surface in a crosshatch pattern, cutting through the outer layer but not into the meat.

3. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.

4. Spread the sugar-spice mixture evenly over the scored ham.

5. Place the ham in a roasting pan and bake for 2-2.5 hours, basting every 30 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 140°F.

6. Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, use a high-quality, fully cooked bone-in ham. You can adjust the spices to your taste preferences. Leftovers make excellent sandwiches or can be used in soups and casseroles.
