Description

Ingredients

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 1/4 cup light brown sugar

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1 cup toffee bits


Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. – In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

3. – Add the flour and salt, and mix until a dough forms. Fold in the toffee bits.

4. – Scoop the dough by the tablespoonful and roll into balls. Place the balls about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.

5. – Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

6. – Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For an extra indulgent treat, drizzle the cooled cookies with melted chocolate. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
