Description

Elevate your grilled meats, fish, or veggies with this quick and flavorful Tropical Island Marinade. Infused with a blend of fresh pineapple, lime, ginger, and aromatic herbs, this marinade will transport your taste buds to a tropical paradise.


Ingredients

– 1 cup fresh pineapple juice

– 1/2 cup lime juice (about 3-4 limes)

– 1/4 cup olive oil

– 2 tablespoons soy sauce

– 2 tablespoons brown sugar

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

– 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

– 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro

– Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

1. In a large bowl, whisk together the pineapple juice, lime juice, olive oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.

2. Add the chopped cilantro and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

3. Add your choice of protein (chicken, steak, shrimp, etc.) or vegetables to the marinade, making sure they are fully coated.

4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.

5. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

6. Remove the marinated items from the refrigerator and grill for 4-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

7. Serve hot, garnished with additional cilantro if desired. Enjoy the flavors of the tropics!

Notes

This marinade can be used on a variety of proteins and vegetables. For best results, marinate for at least 30 minutes, but up to 4 hours for maximum flavor. The marinade can also be used as a basting sauce during grilling.
