Description

These Turkey & Cranberry Sausage Rolls are a delightful holiday appetizer that combines savory turkey, tart cranberries, and flaky puff pastry for a perfect bite-sized treat.


Ingredients

– 1 lb ground turkey

– 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped

– 1 teaspoon dried thyme

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed according to package instructions


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped cranberries, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly distributed.

3. 3. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and roll it out slightly to create a rectangular shape.

4. 4. Spread the turkey and cranberry mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border on all sides.

5. 5. Starting from the long side, tightly roll up the puff pastry, enclosing the filling. Pinch the seam to seal.

6. 6. Cut the roll into 1-inch thick slices and place them seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

7. 7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is cooked through.

Notes
