Description

Enjoy this delicious and easy-to-make homemade turkey stuffing, perfect for your holiday celebrations. Packed with savory flavors and a fluffy texture, this stuffing will be the star of your Thanksgiving or Christmas feast.

Ingredients

– 1 loaf of bread, cubed

– 1 onion, diced

– 3 celery stalks, diced

– 3 cloves of garlic, minced

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter

– 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped

– 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. 2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and celery, and sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.

3. 3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, until fragrant.

4. 4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables, cubed bread, chopped sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

5. 5. Gradually add the broth to the bread mixture, gently tossing to combine. The bread should be moist but not soggy.

6. 6. Transfer the stuffing to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.

7. 7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

8. 8. Serve the turkey stuffing hot, alongside your roasted turkey or other holiday dishes.

Notes

– For a moister stuffing, add an extra 1/4 cup of broth. – Use day-old bread for a firmer texture. – Add chopped nuts or dried fruit for extra flavor and texture.
