Description

Indulge in the comforting and guilt-free delight of this Vegan Apple Crisp. Bursting with warm, cinnamon-spiced apples and topped with a crunchy, buttery crumble, this easy-to-make dessert is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

– 6 cups peeled and sliced apples

– 1/2 cup brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

– 1 cup rolled oats

– 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

– 1/2 cup vegan butter, cubed

– 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. 2. In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well coated.

3. 3. In a separate bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, and vegan butter. Use your fingers to work the butter into the dry ingredients until a crumbly mixture forms.

4. 4. Spread the seasoned apple slices in a 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the oat crumble evenly over the top.

5. 5. Drizzle the maple syrup over the crumble.

6. 6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.

7. 7. Allow the vegan apple crisp to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use a combination of tart and sweet apples. Serve warm with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream or a dollop of coconut whipped cream.
