Description

Satisfy your cravings with this easy-to-make, flavor-packed chili inspired by the iconic Wendy’s fast food classic. Packed with hearty ground beef, kidney beans, and a blend of spices, this Wendys Chili Recipe is the perfect comfort food for any occasion.

Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef

– 1 onion, diced

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tbsp chili powder

– 1 tsp cumin

– 1 tsp oregano

– 1 tsp salt

– 1/2 tsp black pepper

– 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes

– 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

– 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste

– 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

1. – In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and crumbled, 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

2. – Add the onion and garlic to the pot and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the onion is translucent.

3. – Stir in the chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute to toast the spices.

4. – Pour in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato paste, and beef broth. Stir to combine.

5. – Bring the chili to a simmer and let it cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the flavors have melded and the chili has thickened.

6. – Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

7. – Serve the Wendys Chili Recipe hot, topped with shredded cheese, diced onions, and your other favorite toppings.

Notes

For a thicker chili, you can let it simmer for a bit longer. If the chili is too thick, add a splash of beef broth or water to thin it out. This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled to feed a crowd.
