Ingredients
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 lb ground pork
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– 1/2 cup whiskey
– 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
– 2 eggs
– 1 onion, diced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 12 slices bacon
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, whiskey, barbecue sauce, eggs, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
3. 3. Transfer the meatloaf mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
4. 4. Arrange the bacon slices in a overlapping pattern over the top of the meatloaf, completely covering it.
