Description

Indulge in the ultimate cozy treat with these soft, buttery Winter Coffee Brioche Buns. Infused with the rich aroma of coffee, these buns are perfect for a leisurely morning or an afternoon pick-me-up.

Ingredients

– 3 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 tablespoon active dry yeast

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 cup warm milk

– 2 large eggs

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 2 tablespoons brewed coffee, cooled

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

2. Add the warm milk, eggs, and softened butter. Using a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment, knead the dough until it forms a smooth, elastic ball, about 5-7 minutes.

3. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

4. Punch down the dough to release any air bubbles. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape each into a smooth ball.

5. Place the dough balls in a greased 9×13 inch baking pan. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.

6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

7. Brush the tops of the dough balls with the cooled brewed coffee.

8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.

9. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch of decadence, brush the warm buns with melted butter and sprinkle with a little cinnamon-sugar mixture.
