Description

Indulge in the delectable flavors of Baklava in a healthy, make-ahead breakfast with these Baklava Overnight Oats. Creamy oats are layered with a blend of crunchy nuts, warm spices, and a drizzle of sweet honey for a truly decadent start to your day.

Ingredients

– 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats

– 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

– 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

– 1/4 cup chopped pecans

– 2 tablespoons honey, plus more for drizzling

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, walnuts, pecans, 2 tablespoons of honey, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Stir until well mixed.

2. Divide the oat mixture evenly between 4 jars or containers with lids. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.

3. When ready to serve, remove the jars from the fridge and drizzle each serving with additional honey, if desired. Enjoy cold or warm.

Notes

– For a creamier texture, use a little more almond milk.

– Feel free to swap in different nuts like almonds, pistachios, or cashews.

– Top with a sprinkle of crushed graham crackers or a dollop of Greek yogurt for extra flavor and texture.
