Ingredients
– 12 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
– Assorted dipping items (such as strawberries, banana slices, graham crackers, marshmallows, etc.)
Instructions
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the chopped dark chocolate, heavy cream, butter, and sugar.
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Pour the warm chocolate mixture into a serving bowl or fondue pot.
4. Arrange the assorted dipping items around the chocolate fondue on a large board or platter.
5. Serve immediately, dipping the items into the warm, molten chocolate.
Notes
– For a thicker fondue, add an extra 2-3 tablespoons of chopped chocolate.
