Description

Indulge in the irresistible combination of gooey cinnamon, buttery sweetness, and a soft, pillowy texture with these Cinnamon Roll Bliss Bars. A quick and easy 30-minute treat that will transport you to pastry heaven.

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1/4 cup granulated sugar

– 2 teaspoons baking powder

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed

– 3/4 cup milk

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 cup packed brown sugar

– 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.

2. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.

3. 3. Cut in the chilled butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the milk and vanilla until a soft dough forms.

4. 4. Roll the dough out into a 12×8-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.

5. 5. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.

6. 6. Spread the melted butter over the dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the top.

7. 7. Starting from the long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces.

8. 8. Place the pieces cut-side up in the prepared baking dish.

9. 9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the bars are golden brown and the cinnamon-sugar filling is bubbly.

10. 10. Allow the bars to cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use half-and-half or heavy cream instead of milk. Sprinkle the baked bars with powdered sugar or drizzle with a simple glaze for an extra touch of sweetness.
