Ingredients
– 1 pound pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
– 1 cup white pizza sauce
– 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
– 1/4 cup hot honey
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
– Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
2. Roll or stretch the pizza dough into a 12-inch round on a lightly floured surface.
3. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza pan.
4. Spread the white pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
6. Arrange the sliced pear over the cheese.
7. Drizzle the hot honey over the top of the pizza.
8. Sprinkle the dried oregano, garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper over the pizza.
9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
10. Slice and serve hot. Enjoy!
Notes
For a spicier version, you can increase the amount of crushed red pepper flakes. To add more sweetness, you can also drizzle a little extra honey over the top of the baked pizza.
