Description

Homemade Tajin Seasoning is a flavorful blend of chili powder, lime zest, cumin, oregano, and salt that can be used to add a bold kick to a variety of dishes. This easy-to-make seasoning comes together in just 20 minutes and is perfect for sprinkling on tacos, fries, fresh fruit, and more.

Ingredients

– 1/4 cup chili powder

– 2 tablespoons lime zest (about 2 limes)

– 1 tablespoon ground cumin

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, combine the chili powder, lime zest, cumin, oregano, and salt. Stir until well mixed.

2. Transfer the Homemade Tajin Seasoning to an airtight container or jar.

3. Use the seasoning to add flavor to tacos, fries, fresh fruit, and more. Start with 1-2 teaspoons per serving and adjust to taste.

Notes

Store the Homemade Tajin Seasoning in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 6 months. The zest from 2 limes will provide the perfect balance of citrus flavor. Adjust the amount of salt to your personal preference.
