Description

Indulge in these rich and fudgy Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies, a perfect 30-minute treat that combines the velvety texture of red velvet with the creamy goodness of cheesecake.

Ingredients

– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted

– 2 cups granulated sugar

– 4 large eggs

– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

– 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 16 ounces cream cheese, softened

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 1 egg

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and 2 cups of sugar until combined. Beat in the 4 eggs, one at a time, then stir in 2 teaspoons of vanilla.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.

4. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy. Beat in the 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla.

5. Spread half of the red velvet brownie batter into the prepared pan. Dollop the cheesecake mixture on top and use a knife to swirl it into the brownie batter.

6. Spread the remaining red velvet brownie batter over the top, covering the cheesecake layer completely.

7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting and serving.

Notes

For best results, chill the brownies in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. This helps the cheesecake layer set up nicely. Enjoy!
