Description

Spicy Bayou Deviled Eggs are a flavorful twist on a classic appetizer, perfect for adding a little Cajun flair to your next gathering. With a creamy, zesty filling and a vibrant, orange-red hue, these deviled eggs are sure to be a hit.

Ingredients

– 12 hard-boiled eggs

– 1/2 cup mayonnaise

– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

– 2 tablespoons hot sauce (such as Tabasco)

– 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

– 1/4 teaspoon paprika

– 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. – Peel the hard-boiled eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.

2. – Carefully scoop the yolks out of the egg whites and place them in a medium bowl.

3. – Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, Cajun seasoning, and paprika to the bowl with the egg yolks. Mash and mix until well combined and creamy.

4. – Spoon or pipe the filling back into the egg white halves.

5. – Sprinkle the deviled eggs with the chopped fresh parsley.

6. – Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

For a spicier version, increase the amount of hot sauce used. You can also experiment with different Cajun seasoning blends or add a touch of lemon juice for extra brightness.
